TOP, Thai Ocean Plastic Recycling is a company that works closely in collaboration with Wongpanit Krabi, who specializes in collecting, sorting, and recycling Ocean-Bound Plastics waste and turning it into raw materials.
The aim is to prevent plastic waste leakage into the Andaman Ocean and coastline, an ongoing environmental problem.Thailand generates two million tons of plastic waste annually, and countless tons have been leaked into the ocean; this huge pollution waste directly affects marine life and sea birds and pollutes the water. We collected more than 1,500 tons of Ocean-Bound Plastics last year alone.
Traceability is everything; we have implemented a leading tracking system of Empower Blockchain from Norway. With them, our materials are now traceable, and our whole supply chain becomes transparent from the first step of the process to the end.Not only do we see the importance of traceability, but we also value having OBP-certified intending to sell further our certified OBP products, such as Pallets, Yarns, and Fabrics.
